据悉，这至少是该厂今年的第二次罢工，今年2月26日上午，已有近2000名工人罢工，抗议待遇太低，要求按照东莞市提高最低工资标准至1,000元的规定给予底薪，有一名员工因发了张罢工照片上网而被开除。最后厂方并没有向工人妥协。
