  From CLB: 23 August 2010: Nearly 1,000 unemployed workers from the Guangzhou Iron and Steel Holdings Co. staged a demonstration in their continued fight for redress, which dated back to 1996, when about 10,000 employees were laid off. The laid-off workers had established their own rights group and negotiated with the government over the years but their grievances had never been resolved.
